ABOUT US
Woof Academy is the only Facility in Southern California to offer a Puppy Training & Socialization Program. Woof Academy is owned and operated by Pamela Chandler and Tom Gonzalez. They are both long term San Diego residents who live close by in La Costa.

Pamela is Certified in Dog Training Knowledge (CDTK) through the CATCH Academy of Dog Trainers and is an approved partner with the American Kennel Club as an AKC Evaluator for Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) testing. Prior to running her own training business, Pamela spent several years working at an animal hospital as well as co-founding a local rescue, and serving as both its Executive Director and Adoption Coordinator.

Tom is a serial entrepreneur with a 30 year career starting and running several different successful businesses, primarily in the tech space. Woof Academy provides Tom an opportunity to share in Pamela's passion for dogs and offers a great change of pace to the enterprise software design and engineering consultancy he manages.
We have 10 passionate and dedicated staff members who all of our daycare dogs and puppies love.

OUR STAFF AT WOOF ACADEMY
RACHAEL CAMARA
Rachael grew up close by to Woof Academy and has been working with dogs for about 4 years now. She has 2 of her own, Koda, a Shepard Mix, and Kira, a Golden Retriever. Rachael loves exploring with her dogs bringing them to Woof to play!
SEAN CAMPBELL
Sean has loved dogs since he was very young. His dog Kahi is now 1 and has come through all 3 steps of the Puppy Program. He loves to take her out on adventures, to beaches and her favorite place of all, Woof.
JAMIE BURNS
Jamie has worked with dogs over the years and loves everything about it. She also enjoys exploring and everything about San Diego-the beaches, the breweries, the weather, and most importantly the dogs. Since she doesn't have a dog to call her own yet, her favorite breeds include Rhodesian Ridge-backs and Bernese Mountain Dogs.
MARLEE GEOGHEGAN
Marlee loves dogs more than anything and has been working with pups for about 3 years now! Her own dog Opie, a Staffordshire Mix, is her best friend along with the rest of her families 4 dogs. She loves being able to learn more about dogs and puppies here at Woof Academy everyday.
SELINA RANGEL
Selina loves working with dogs everyday, which is why shes on her fifth year of working with animals. She loves everyday of it and has 4 dogs of her own.. A variety of breeds! Selina treats your dogs like she would like her own to be treated and has a talent in all areas of grooming!
MARY JOHNSON
Mary has been at Woof Academy since the start, about 6 years ago. She always makes sure the dogs are having fun, being safe and loves on them all! At home, Mary has a Chihuahua Mix named Doodle who she adores.
